If you have ever wondered why what Ruritan stands for is important - take a few minutes to read the
Time Magazine Article titled "The Ripple Effect" ... it is very sobering. What makes this article so relevant
is that the story focuses on Roxboro, NC our neighbor and most likely some or all of us know someone
that has been effected ... 
 
By coming together we can be each others safety nets in times of need and together can take the lead

stores, $68 returns to the
community through taxes,
payroll, and other expenditures!
 
When those dollars are
spent in national chains,
