Fund raising is a teamwork effort by members of the club and the vendors that support us.
As part of the philosophy of Ruritan-"Fellowship, Goodwill and Community Service" we have
added this page to our website to share with you some extraordinary resources that have
made a difference to our club.

We currently print a 24 page club/community newsletter. It has helped create awareness
about the club in the community and a member of the club started it 13 years ago. Most of
the time it was a break even fund raiser ... meaning we did not make a lot of money and more
importantly we did not lose any money.
As we grew from 12-14 pages to 24 our vendor also increased prices until our cost for
1000 copies was nearly $1200. MGXCopy charges us $583 for 1100 copies and $200 for
shipping saving us $397 dollars on each issue.
That is money our club puts back into the community.
MGXCopy also printed our community calendar this year - Gordon-Bernard our
previous vendor charged us nearly $2900 a year for 1000 calendars - by working with us
MGXCopy reduced our cost to just $2150 including shipping. In addition it was printed
in full color for every advertiser - and the cost for the previous vendor would have been
over $4000 ... our savings was huge and the advertisers were very pleased.
We actually have orders for the 2013 Community Calendar and as I write this it is
still 2011 ... yes it was a very successful event.

We print raffle tickets for our largest single fundraiser - our golf tournament. A local company
was printing 300 plain "bla" tickets with numbers for $155 plus tax ... TicketPrinting.com printed
1000 numbered tickets for $161 including S&H and they were in full color and our design.
They offer a 10% discount for non-profits on a standard basis and have extended that discount
to 20% for Ruritans. Ask for Taylor when you call. The graphic above will take you to their website.
